In the "Rohner'schen" factory Erhard Ruoss-Kistler sen. learnt the profession of an embroiderer in a short time and founded his own small embroidery in 1901.

 Mister E. Ruoss-Kistler jun. (right)
bought the mechanical weaving mill Lachen in Galgenen, in 1936 which Caspar Honegger had erected in 1862/63, and began with the production of twisted cotton yarn.

 

In 1939/40 the upholstered 
material production started in Galgenen.
